Perhaps you have broken up with your boyfriend or girlfriend and you are now feeling very sad. You still love your ex very much and really want to get him/her back.
You are definitely not alone in this situation. In fact, most of the time, people really hope to get their lover back as soon as possible.
However, I have one word of advice. Even though you want to get your ex back as soon as possible, you still should not try to rush things. As the saying goes, "More haste less speed."
Here is an example to illustrate.
Terrence just broke up with Jenny. Terrence feels extremely devastated and really wanted to get Jenny back as soon as possible. So he decided to call her immediately.
What happens? Jenny did not pick up the phone. So, Terrence keeps on calling Jenny, hoping that she will eventually pick up the phone. Unfortunately, Terrence's wish did not come true.
Can you see what the mistakes that Terrence has made are? He is approaching the whole issue too fast. First, if he has just broken up with Jenny, it is usually better to wait for a period of time before contacting her again.
Second, if Jenny decided not to pick up the phone, calling again and again is not going to help. This is a sign of desperation and will only drive Jenny further away.
There are many other common mistakes that people made when they are trying to get their ex back, besides the one mentioned above. It will be helpful that you are aware of them so that you will not risk making the same mistakes when you are trying to get your lover back. |
