Perhaps you have already broken up with your ex boyfriend or ex girlfriend but deep inside your heart, you still want to get your lover back. You still love him/her and he/she still has a place in your heart.
Yet, on the other hand, you may not be very sure too. You are not really sure whether you should get back together with your ex. So, how can you come up with a good decision.
Perhaps, you may want to consider the following points:
1) You have more pleasant times than unpleasant times
If both of you are happy together most of the time, it is really a waste to just let go of the relationship, especially if your break up is cause by a minor issue. If both of you are willing to resolve it, this relationship is definitely worth saving.
2) You still have a place in his/her heart
You may want to get back together with him/her but if he/she is clearly not interested anymore, it will be hard for you to do anything about it. Sure, you might hope that he/she will change his/her mind maybe one year later. However, it might be better off for you to find someone who really knows how to appreciate you.
3) What is the cause of the break up
Is it because of something very serious like an affair? Perhaps, your ex may apologize profusely and tells you that he/she will not do it anymore. Do you still trust him/her? Can you still accept him/her back? Are both of you willing to work out the issue together? Perhaps, you may want to consider a relationship counselor who has been very successful in helping couples to get back together? |
